Column Heading ToolTip
Hi
Does anyone know if i can change the tool tip for a column heading in a visual table?

Tooltips are for data in the chart or graph and not available for column tooltip.
well that's rubbish - i want to be able to put a description on the column to explain the contents better than a one word column heading.
it seems there are a few user voice ideas logged - i'll vote on those

According to my research and test, you can go to the “Format” pane of this visual->Visual header->turn on the visual header tooltip icon and enter the tooltip text to display the tooltip text, you can take a look at my screenshots:
And you can get what you want.

Thank you for taking the time to respond - unfortunately that is the column heading tooltip so doesn't satisfy my requirements.
It seems it's a gap at the moment - hopefully microsoft will resolve it soon.

As far as I’m concerned, it is the current solution of the column heading tooltip in Power BI.
If it can not meet your requirement. You can go to the Power BI Idea to submit a new idea so that people with the same idea can vote for you. I will also vote for you.
