Hello. I have a few card visuals that are of a measure (just count rows) and tehn some applied filters based on criteria. The table on left side of screen does not filter when clicking on the card ...
Yes, that's what I'm saying, it doesn't work like that. You are expecting the table visual to show you a filtered view (by the way, it's the funnel icon on the table you need to check) when you click on the card but the card is showing a measure value (a scalar value which is evaluated by filters/slicers) . The table doesn't respond to a scalar value.

If it was a data point in a graph/chart that was clicked, the table would respond because it can pass a dimension from one of the axes. (and that would alter the table by adding another filter to the evaluation of any measure)
