  • Hi MikeR9 , Can you check if the author applied the sensitivity label to confidential data and whether you have access to the underlying data?

  • Hi MikeR9
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.

I would also take a moment to thank Natarajan_M   , for actively participating in the community forum and for the solutions you’ve been sharing in the community forum. Your contributions make a real difference.
You can check the applied sensitivity label from the dataset settings:
    1.  Go to the Workspace.
    2.  Open Lineage view to identify the connected dataset (semantic model).
    3.  Click the three dots (… ) next to the dataset.
    4.  Select Settings.
    5.  Under Information protection, check the Sensitivity label applied.
If a label such as Confidential or Highly Confidential is applied, please verify whether:
    •  The label was recently changed.
    •  Encryption was enabled.
    •  Your account has permission to access content protected by that label.
You can also refer to Microsoft’s official documentation on sensitivity labels in Power BI for detailed guidance:

If I misunderstand your needs or you still have problems on it, please feel free to let us know.
