Hi MikeR9 , Can you check if the author applied the sensitivity label to confidential data and whether you have access to the underlying data?
Hi MikeR9
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.I would also take a moment to thank Natarajan_M , for actively participating in the community forum and for the solutions you’ve been sharing in the community forum. Your contributions make a real difference.
You can check the applied sensitivity label from the dataset settings:
1. Go to the Workspace.
2. Open Lineage view to identify the connected dataset (semantic model).
3. Click the three dots (… ) next to the dataset.
4. Select Settings.
5. Under Information protection, check the Sensitivity label applied.
If a label such as Confidential or Highly Confidential is applied, please verify whether:
• The label was recently changed.
• Encryption was enabled.
• Your account has permission to access content protected by that label.
You can also refer to Microsoft’s official documentation on sensitivity labels in Power BI for detailed guidance:Sensitivity Labels in Power BI - Microsoft Purview Information Protection | Microsoft Learn
