I could reproduce this error in my test. I have reported this problem internally and I will update my reply once I get the feedback.

v-yulgu-msft  I'm having the issue when connected to SQL through Direct Query as well, if that helps you.

    jogliddenv-yulgu-msft I decided getting my report built was more important than waiting for this to be solved, so i switched from Direct Query to Import, and the table displayed perfectly fine. Would prefer DQ, so hopefully this bug is fixed soon, but for now I'm up and running again!

      grodinsm, thanks for the reply, but I can't be doing import. It defeats the purpose of not having to do imports, which is the big thing about direct query, and having living data outside of PBI. I'd rather just have a hacked, irregular report. Thankfully it's for my own auditing and accounting purposes, not for the C-Suite.
