calender table
Hi all, I'm undecided between creating a separate calender table or using one of the existing date fields to create reports by year/ quarter and some time intelligence functions such year over year change. Can anyone please advise or give pros and cons ?
Thanks so much!

Hi,
A seperate Calendar table is always better. Take less than a minute to create it with the simple CALENDAR() function.

Everybody will have their own opinion on this. Here is mine: Do not use any of the Power Query or DAX solutions. Use an externally maintained table. You can thank me later.
