Calculate % Change

Hi there,

Struggling with a % change calculation which seems so simple but doesnt return anything.

The calculation is the current Year/Period - Previous Year/Period / Previous Year/Period

Have created measures for the Period/Years i want to compare and summed the total salary bill. However, the calculation doesnt seem to return anything and have tried several different ways of writing the calculation. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Can you explain why you are using CALCULATE()?

Have you tried the measure without it?

Is there any way that your 3 table visuals (FY21-P10, FY22-P10, FY23-P10) each have a filter limiting rows to one particular period?

This could cause the problem since the previous year's rows would be outside of the period.

Does this make any sense?  I'm running out of options.

        Hi Anonymous

Sorry about that.  I was wondering why it was marked as a solution while you said it didn't work.

Is there any way you can produce sample data with which you can replicate the problem?

Can you show what [P10 F22] and [P10 F23] measures look like?

At this point, I'm just taking shots in the dark.
