Button "On Hover" State Also Changing Default State
Hello, I'm running PBI Desktop Version: 2.141.1558.0 64-bit (March 2025)
When I insert a button and try change the Style State to "On Hover" and make a change; it changes the "Default" state as well.
I've tried this on my main report, but just to demonstrate the issue, I've created a blank report with a single button. In the screenshots below I added the button and turned off all styles on the "Default" state. Then I changed the state to "On Hover" and turned on border. The border shows even if I'm not hovering over the button. Then when I go back to the "Default" state, it shows the border option selected. It doesn't seem to matter which Style I change when on the "On Hover" state; it always affects the default. I've seen some people having this same issue in the past, but never found an answer that has fixed their problem.

This is kind of tricky but there is a workaround.
Turn on the Border and on the Default select the Border With as 0, and on the On Hover do it as 3PX for example should give you expected result:

Yes, that worked as a work around. Wondering why a work around is needed for a basic function though. Is this a known issue with PBI? Thanks!!
