Building a specific visual

Hi i am trying to build a visual like below

I have built it by overlapping two visuals as you can see below:

If i do it in 1 visual, the result is as below:

I would appreciate for any brief guidance on how can i go about building the visual as in the first screenshot above, i.e., i get the actuals by month first and the YTD stats all in 1 visual?
