BUG in PowerBIdesktop Query Editor
I have downloaded latest power bi desktop x64 version from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=58494
The version of same is -
The issue is there are no option available for column quality, distribution, column profile under Data Preview in View ribbon.
I tried to uninstall and install the BI desktop from microsoft power bi website. Tried to install in different drives like C and E. But the issue still persits.
Also i see fewer options in Layout and preview feature options as compared to other users -
Not sure what is the issue on my machine. I had shared the pbix file and dataset to other user on community and she was able to see the column options in her machine.
I had raised the same in community but did not get solution to the issue. Link for same is - Community Link
My system has Win 8, 12GB ram, i3 processor. Let me know in case you need anything else from my side to check the issue.
My OS version was older, due to which i was not able to see the column quality, distribution, profile options, error indicator - green/red. I did system format and then loaded windows 10. After that installed Power BI desktop again from Microsoft website. Now the issue is resolved.
