Azure SQL Database Gateway

Hi,    Our report is pulling data from Azure SQL database, i am using Direct Query mode.  Report is working fine, but when published report is asking for Gateway connection.   For Azure SQL data...

Hi nagaraj ,

 

When using DirectQuery with an Azure SQL Database and a private IP address, an on-premises gateway is required.  You could reference the document: Important considerations when using DirectQuery  to learn more.

 

Please add the data source into gateway and map to it in dataset settings to try again.
