Apply filter on specific KPIs

Hello,

Can anyone tell me how to use filter in specific KPIs & Cards in a dashboard?

Below dashboard I am preparing and the 1st column & 2nd column I am using KPIs and in 3rd column using Cards. I want to apply filter using a field called Organization_level  only on 1st  col & 3rd col. I want to keep 2nd col as static. How can I do this? Kindly suggest!!

  • Hi Anonymous ,

When you select any of those visualisations you should be able to drag your [Organization_level] field into the 'Visual-level filter' section in the filters pane. You can then apply a bespoke filter to each individual visual.

If you want to apply the same [Organization_level] filter to all visuals in column 1 & 3 , but not to column 2, via an [Organization_lavel] slicer, then you need to set up your slicer, select your slicer on the page, go to the 'Format' tab at the top of the page, select 'Edit Interactions' on the ribbon, then deselect all of the visuals in column 2.

You may create a slicer, and use "Edit interaction" to make it not effecting a specific card or kpi visual.

You cannot use filter or slicer on dashboard, but you can create a slicer in the report and pin as live page to pin the entire report to the dashboard.
