Apply a flag before Append between 2 table

Hi Team,   I have 2 fact tables. I need to append both tables  with the common date_key field to connect date_key field of calender.   Before append i need to add a column in both table like Flag...
Need Help

It seems that you may just add two custom columns in Query Editor.

Hi Sam,

Yes. i have added 2 custom column in 2 diffrent tables  in power query. 

 

I think , for such situation when we need 1 fact table then we should proceed with same process.

 

But I dont know wether it is right way to achieve result in Power BI?
