Adding X-axis line

Yes, you can easily add the X-axis line to your chart in Power BI. It's likely that the line has been turned off or set to a transparent color in your visual's formatting settings.

To add it back, you'll first need to click on the chart in your Power BI report to select it. Once selected, navigate to the Visualizations pane, which is typically on the right side of the screen, and click the paintbrush icon 🖌️ to open the Format your visual tab. In this formatting menu, scroll down until you find the X-axis section and click to expand it. Inside these options, look for a sub-section named Line. Here, you can customize the line by setting its Color (black or dark gray is standard), adjusting the Stroke width to control its thickness, and changing the Line style to Solid. Applying these changes will make your X-axis line reappear on the visual.

There is no formatting option called "X-axis line" in Power BI.
However, you can achieve the same effect by adding a reference line.
If your axis starts at 0, just set the reference line value to 0.
If not, you need to define the logic that determines the baseline value.
