% CT SALES
I have matrix visual
3 matric visaul one has column as date, one has month and last has year
i want to claculte % share which we can do directly frm the value option as to show the value as % of column total whoch works perfectlty.
but i have 3-4values which im runnig through a button a metric button okay.
so i would require a measure which can calculate the % of COLUMN TOTAL OF SALES.
Hii Khushboobarai
Use this single measure for % of Column Total (Sales):
% Column Total Sales = DIVIDE( [Sales], CALCULATE( [Sales], ALLSELECTED(YourTable[RowField]) ) )

Hi Khushboobarai ,
It would be beneficial to add a brief clarification to the current answer to ensure it aligns with the original poster's objectives. While the existing solution functions correctly for a fixed Sales measure, the user is utilizing a metric button that dynamically switches between different measures.
Therefore, the percentage of column total should also adjust dynamically based on the selected metric, rather than being limited to Sales. Including a note that the logic should reference the chosen metric will make the response more comprehensive and directly relevant to the scenario. This will help maintain consistent calculations across date, month, and year matrix views, and ensure compatibility with the metric switching setup.
