As Financial Modelers, we pride ourselves on our great multidisciplinary knowledge. We know a bit of accounting and finance, a reasonable dose of Excel, an ability to think critically, and a good grasp of what makes businesses successful.

 

In this data-driven world, it is impossible to overlook the huge role data and analytics play in enabling us to understand the relationships in the multiple facets of data that make up organisations, the markets they serve, and the people running the systems the organisation puts in place.

 

To scale our abilities in planning, forecasting, and analysis, we need to add yet another superpower to our skillset: Deep Data Engineering and Analytics Skills. If used well, artificial intelligence can be our companion on this journey.

 

So, in this Community, we will weave together the fields of Financial Modeling, Analysis, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence to help us understand business even more, extract assumptions with stronger predictive power, and build robust models that update automatically via seamless integration with our organisations' data infrastructure.
