Synapse Analytics - Scheduled trigger in UTC time started running 1 hour earlier after DST started.

We have a monthly scheduled trigger in Synapse Analytics which is configured using UTC time zone.

After the DST started on March 10th 2025, the scheduled trigger started running 1 hour earlier.

I found similar issue raised by other users, here is the link:
https://www.reddit.com/r/AZURE/comments/1bi1ybi/daylight_savings_time_just_whacked_my_triggers/

Is this a known issue? how does Microsoft recommend to tackle this?

  • Known bug. Make sure you specify (UTC) Universal Time Coordinated and not (UTC) Dublin.
