Accessing to a PostgreSQL on-premise data source

Hi,

in order to understand how accessing to a PostgreSQL on-premise data source, inside the MS documentation is reported this:

So, it isn't necessary to use an on-premises data gateway to get data from a PostgreSQL source, isn't it?

    I've verified that for connecting to a on-premise PostgreSQL source it occurs an on-premise data gateway.

    Can you please share the document link? The document seems to be wrong and might need an update.

    Based on my understanding, an On Premises data gateway is needed to access any onprem source
