Interesting. THere should be nothing preventing you from deleting it.
Can you try using the API to delete it?

How old is this model?
Dataflow Gen 2 does create staging lakehouse and warehouses that are hidden in the UI, that use the naming convention you mentioned.
Way back when, when default semantic models were a thing, these hidden staging datastores also had hidden default semantic models, but default semantic models have been gone for quite a while now.
If you open the lineage view of the model, what do you see?
