What's your data source? I would suggest you code some scripts to get data and to format as JSON. I think almost all the work can run automatically.

My data source is SQL Server.

Right now I'm basically following this example, because I couldn't find any others that do the same thing:
If you look though the solution files there, you'll see that this structure requires that I come up with the JSON (that looks like an ssas tabular bim file).
I'm more than open to another development approach that results in this!
