We could not register this data source for any gateway instances within this cluster

Hi,

 

I'm trying to add a custom data connector to my on-premises data gateway. But I'm getting a error message. The custom data connector is used a Oauth2 authentication. It works fine in PowerBI desktop. But when I try to configure in Power BI service I'm getting this error message.

I tried every method available in this post (https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/We-could-not-register-this-data-source-for-any-gateway-instances/td-p/605338 )  but none works for me. 

Any suggestions ?

    Hey Thakshila 

    I am trying to get an API connection to Jobadder, but I am not having any luck.  

    Did you have to create a custom connector to use the JobAdder API, or were you able to connect in Power Query?

    Any advice that you have to push me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

      Sorry for the late reply. I had to create a cutom connector to use the JobAdder API.
