Tooltips for line chart with Legend

I have created a simple line chart that I added a legend to to see multiple lines (trends) of a measure based on the Legend I have segregated them by.  I have supporting information I would like to display in the tooltip but the tooltip will only display the First or Last or Count of the information.  Meaning that as you hover over a particular date in the line chart, no mater which line you hover over only the first is displayed in the tooltip.  I would like the specific correlated information to be displayed in the tooltip as you hover over each different line based on the ledgend segregation.
