Slicer with Python for various criteria with OR

Hello everyone
I need to use a filter with several criteria, to filter data from a table and display it on the canvas.
For example

"Dog; cat; cow; horse; pig; hummingbird; wild pig; lion; shark"

As there can be many criteria you should use ";" to separate each one and in the filter use the OR statement to do the search, can I do this filter with Python?, or any additional suggestions?
