Slicer to select a date between two dates

I have a project where my data file has a start  YYYY-MM and an end  YYYY-MM. The request The request asks for a slicer that selects a single  YYYY-MM and will pull all records that fall between the start and end. I have no idea how to configure this. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

    Is the user expected to select two values in the slicer?

      No they only want the one month. If an eligibility span runs from say Jan to March 2020. The would like to select Feb 2020 and only see that month. Thak you.
