Real-time dashboard animation isn't smooth

I have deployed a real-time dashboard tile (line graph) and am looking at it in the Chrome and Edge browsers.

In both cases, the graph image flickers whenever there is an update. Also, the animation doesn't seem smooth, instead it stutters quite a bit, even though I am pushing data at a constant interval.

Are there any plans for improving this less than impressive visual experience? Or are there settings that can be tweaked to make it look better?
