Query runs on the database but not in dataflow.

Hi all, 

I'm getting the error message below when trying to get data from a database into a dataflow.

An exception occurred: The operation is timed out. (Session ID: eeada1c6-b352-4bbe-a0d6-c7c17763d283, Region: europe)

 

I'm running a query that works perfectly in the database but I when trying in dataflow I get this timeout message. 
What can I do to solve this issue?

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    What kind of data source did you use to create your dataset, SQL Server or others? Please check whether you have configured gateway successfully. 

    If your data source is SQL, I could find another case with similar issue like yours. Did your query run more than 10 mins and then show you this error? The default time out setting of Query should be 10 mins.

    That issue has been confirmed as a known issue internally. Internal ICM ID: 271770607

    Please be patient to wait for fixing. If there is any news, I will update it here.

    Also, your can try this way : Admin Portal > Capacity Settings > Management tab > Workloads section > switch "Enhanced Dataflows Compute Engine (Preview)" to "Off":
