Queries on Power BI embedding

- If your report is in a Pro workspace, embedding works for testing, but for production you’ll need Fabric/Embedded, since embedding scenarios require capacity based licensing.
- You can share reports with external users, but please avoid Publish to Web unless the data is completely public, because it allows anyone on the internet to view the report with no authentication and no RLS support.
- If you don’t want to add users as guests, you can use App Owns Data embedding (embed for customers). In this approach, users access the report through your application and don’t need Power BI accounts or licenses.
- RLS is supported in this setup, and you can pass the user identity through embed tokens to control what each user sees.
