PowerBI Report Export in csv format via Rest API
Hi,
PowerBI provided CSV format export API for Paginated Reports alone, not for normal reports which support only pbix, ppt, png formats.

Is there any API to export PowerBI reports in CSV format?
If not, is there any API to get the exact data present in a particular report?
Can you please help me with a solution/clarity on this since am looking for it for a long time.

kehamparam1 - That is only supported for paginated reports, I do not know of any way to get a CSV of a report.

In that case, is there any api to retrieve direct data from a powerbi report or from a powerbi dataset ?
Not the metadata, the actual data which we have mapped to be shown in the report.

It seems like you are searching for programming functions to export power bi content as same as power bi export features.
Export the data that was used to create a visualization
As Greg_Deckler said, current power bi seems not to release these features to Power bi REST API.
If you still want to achieve these, I think you need to trace and analytic the power bi export features to find out the 'request url', header, correspond request tokens, and parameters. Then you can simulation these operations based on scripts or programming languages. (notice: these operations obviously complex than developing on rest api and they required you are familiar with using programming language/script on web development)
In my opinion, I'd like to suggest you submit ideas to add more export APIs.
