Power BI embedded

Hi ,

I am trying to embed my report and I updated application Id, Workspace Id , User and password in web.config but

I am getteing this error

AADSTS50076: Due to a configuration change made by your administrator, or because you moved to a new location, you must use multi-factor authentication to access 'XXX'. Trace ID: XXX Correlation ID: XXX Timestamp:XXX

Thank you in advance and really apperciate your help.

  • Hi Nicki ,

It seems your tenant enabled the multi-factor authentication. That would be a problem for the App Owns Data scenario. Because nobody will wait and do the second authentication. I would suggest you contact your AD admin to change the settings for the master account. Or you can try the new preview feature: developer/embed-service-principal.

    Best Regards,
