Need Dashboard tile creation API for PowerBI

There is  only clone tile API available but this only works when source dashboard is present 

 

Can we support creation of dashboard tiles with REST API ? or pinning dashboard tiles from report to new dashboard ? Do we have any workarounf available apart from cloning

    Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.

     

    Currently, power bi REST API’s do not support creating dashboard tiles or pinning report visuals to a dashboard. The only supported tile-related API is the clone tile api, which requires an existing source dashboard. As of now, there is no supported REST API workaround to programmatically create new dashboard tiles or pin report visuals to a dashboard.

    If automation of dashboard tile creation is important for your scenario, I would recommend submitting or voting for an enhancement request through the Microsoft Fabric Ideas portal.
