Missing "Show data point as a table" in Power BI Service for a map visual
- 3 months ago
Hi olpololya
Common causes for this issue can contains:
Measures vs columns : The option only works when the visual’s values (e.g. bubble size) are based on columns, not measures. If your map uses a measure for size/count, the Service will hide that option.
Export/data settings: Tenant admin can disable Export data / Show data as table for users.
Report setting “Allow end users to export summarize data” can also block it.
Could you please try to check :
In Desktop, check the map visual: If Size (or any value) is a measure, replace it with a column and republish.
In Desktop: File > Options > Current file > Report settings > ensure “Allow end users to export summarize data” is ON, then republish.
Or
Ask your admin to confirm tenant settings for Export data / Show data as table are enabled for your users.
