Integrating azure devops
- Anonymous2 years ago
Hi Reddi,
For integrate Fabric with Azure DevOps and deploy Fabric resources using ARM templates or Azure CLI, you can take a look at the following these steps:
- Set up your Azure DevOps environment:
-
Create an Azure DevOps organization and project if you haven’t.
-
Set up a build pipeline or release pipeline in Azure DevOps to automate the deployment process.
- Create an ARM template for your Fabric resources:
-
ARM templates are JSON files that define the infrastructure and configuration of your resources.
-
Use the Azure Resource Manager template reference documentation to learn about the available resources and their properties.
-
Create an ARM template that includes the Fabric resources you want to deploy.
- Add the ARM template to your Azure DevOps repository:
- Upload the ARM template file to your Azure DevOps repository.
- Configure your build or release pipeline in Azure DevOps:
-
In your Azure DevOps project, navigate to the build or release pipeline you created earlier.
-
Add a task to the pipeline that deploys the ARM template.
-
Configure the task to use the Azure CLI or Azure PowerShell task, depending on your preference.
-
Specify the ARM template file and any required parameters in the task configuration.
- Run the pipeline to deploy the Fabric resources:
-
Trigger the build or release pipeline to deploy the Fabric resources using the ARM template.
-
Monitor the pipeline logs and any error messages to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the deployment process.
