How to create a clustered & stacked columns graph
- Anonymous1 year ago
Hi XavGozel,
Thank you for reaching out in Microsoft Community Forum.
Thank you lbendlin for the helpful response.
To achieve clustered columns with a color breakdown in Power BI, please follow these steps:
1.Insert a Stacked Column Chart instead of a Clustered Column Chart.
2.set fields like below
Axis: Month (Period End Date)
Legend: Car Names (colors)
Values: Flow values (In, Out, Still Open).
3.To separate "In", "Out", and "Still Open" into different panels, use Small Multiples for better clarity.4.Create separate charts for "In", "Out", and "Still Open" if you prefer manual layout control.
Please continue using Microsoft Community Forum.

Hi Pavan,
Sorry, I was off at work and thank you for your support as well as @lbendlin .
Unfortunately, it doesn't work because I can not select "Car Names (colors)" in the cell "Legend".
Car Names (colors) is not a computation, only ABC data with name.
I will send a picture of my PowerBi tomorrow.
Regards.
Xavier

Hi all,
Here is the snapshot of my PowerBi : following instructions hereabove, I can not drop "Car Name"
also, my need is to have a bar for each Y-axis computation, per month period, with, if possible, a curve of % (no shown in my example hereabove)
- 1 bar for Input
- 1 bar for Output
- 1 bar for WIP
Thank you for your help.
