Forecast Moving Average wih 3 condition
Hi I have question about forecast :
1. Column FORECAST SALES :
- 31-Jan-21 until 30-Jun-21 : use actual data from ACTUAL SALES column
- 31-Jul-21 until 31-Dec-21 : use MOVING AVERAGE from last 3 month data, example : for 31-Dec-21 is average from 30-Sep-21 until 30-Nov-21
2. Column FORECAST SALES POSITIVE (*10%) = FORECAST SALES + (FORECAST SALES*0.1)
3. Column FORECAST SALES NEGATIVE (*-10%) = FORECAST SALES + (FORECAST SALES*-0.1)
Thank for all help and input 🙂

Hi Anonymous ,
I am afraid that this cannot be achieved, because the forecast value is based on the sales of the previous months. And the sales of the previous month does not actually exist. For example, calculating the forecast sales in August 2021, which is equal to the average sales of May, June and July. But the sales in July does not actually exist. . .
Maybe you can try to apply forecasting to the line chart. Select the related line chart, then expand the Forecast section of the Analytics pane. Input the value for Forecast length or the Confidence interval.
Best Regards
