Hi amalekshahi,

 

What's the Authentication Token, is it a embedded token?

 

If that is the case, you should be able to find a way to decode the token to get the user information, and validate it against the Account_ID. Here is a similar thread for your reference. :smileyhappy:

No. We have a REST API endpoint where our application issues a token after successful authentication (nothing to do with Power BI).

 

Here is the way we want to embed Power BI in our application:

- Our application authenticates user and creates a token

- The token will be passed to Power BI embedded iFrame 

- Inside Power BI, we would like to call another REST API to validate the token

- Upon successful validation, the visuals will show

 

Is this possible in Power BI?
