Date and time filtering
Hi, I'm looking for a way to show information for a user selectable period using a single datetime field. This datetime field shows the date and time that a job was created in our job management...

Perhaps I was not clear on what I'm looking for but for now I've solved my own issue by copying the datetime column to a new column in the same table, changing the datatype of the new column to a decimal with 4 decimal places and using the decimal number in the new column to filter out the data for the datetime from and to periods I need. I will build a converter table that looks up the actual date and time the date time serial number represents to make it easier for the users.

Enable "Allow users to change filter types" and teach your users how to use the filter pane. That will give you exactly the functionality you are looking for.
