Dataset Error Column Not Found but PBI Desktop works

hi now it is even worse. now the refresh doesn't show anything. I thought something was wrong with my dataset or maybe there was no activity as it is the weekend so  I jumped into my laptop to check my PBI desktop and there was data after the refresh. then I decided to download a copy of the dataset to see what I can find out with my PBI desktop and surprise, the dataset works fine in my desktop. Something is not linking my query but without errors and erratic behavior  I cannot tell. is there a way to debug my dataset refresh in the PBI service?

In the Power BI Service you can hover over the visuals and check the filter icon.  Most likely you have a date filter there that is preventing data from being shown.

    Thank you I tried that. It is not a filter as I went directly to the dataset to explore it and it was empty so I downloaded the pbix and opened it in my pbi desktop and hit refresh and voilà data came. Not sure why in pbi swrvice it is not working

      Do any of the data sources in the dataset have incremental refresh enabled?  Have you attempted to refresh partitions via the XMLA endpoint?
