Custom Visual - Render D3 chart without all measures

Hi,  I've been working on a simple line chart that accepts 3 fields - Date, Actual, and Target.  Target however is an optional field, but my chart wont render until it has been supplied with all three fields, have I missed something simple?

    Hi pbriddo,

    What type of visual are you worked? Can you please share some more detail information about these? If you mean the d3.js chart, I'd like to suggest you share the script you used to test.
