Custom data labels for an air chart
Hi Anonymous - if you're talking about using calculation groups, then some form of external tool is currently needed as they cannot be authored natively in Desktop.
Tabular Editor is probably the most accessible means to do this and if you don't have a license for Tabular Editor 3, Tabular Editor 2 is still freely available and kept up to date, and will support calculation groups (it just doesn't have the premium features of Tabular Editor 3).
Alternatively, you can try this using PowerShell and the TOM libraries - Phil Seamark (Power BI CAT) has a blog post that may help you get started here.

I have tried to install different version of tabular editor when I install it , the JSON file is created in the Microsoft Shared folder. However, When I open power BI I don't see external tools. I have Power BI version n° 2.97.2222.0 64-bit (septembre 2021 ).
