Create filterable reports for websites and emails

Hi,

I'm trying out Power BI for it's feasibility.

I have a requirement where i need to segment/filter the data in Power BI based on certain parameters.

Basically we have a website with User profiles, and i want each profile to display a segment of that data (so Power BI embedded i guess?), then also embed this data into an email (custom query against Power BI API?)

So let's say the data (SQL) in Power BI is like this:

UserId     ProfileViews

1              10

2              20

Let's say i then wanted a simple report (a card visualization).

If i went to UserId 1's profile, i want to display the report with 10 profile views.

Then i want to send him an email with the number 10 for profile views in it.

Is this possible with Power BI?

It seems targeted at generic stats, or global stats - but i can't see how i can embed a graph with filtered data on a site/app, it's like i need to create a new report per user?

Also - i can't see how i can solve the email requirement -> i don't think i can query Power BI's data directly?

That said - i've only been playing around with it for a day or so.

Can anyone help me with above? Would i use Power BI Embedded for this, instead of Power BI service? It sounds like Power BI is used for internal teams viewing company reports, but if i want to embed customer data onto our public website, i don't even need that and i can use Power BI embedded?

Sorry if this question is poorly structured :)

Thanks in advance.
