Building Template to hold data claculations

Hi,

 

I have some data that once extracted from our source system needs to have some formulas & Calculations appllied to it before we can use it to build dashboards on in Power BI.

 

Can anyone advise if there is a way to build a template into Power BI that will hold these formulas so that when the data is extracted from source it can bropped into the template and the formulas etc will automatically update?

 

Very similar to hoilding formulas in an excel spreadsheet and dropping a data set in to update.

    I suggest you take a look at the power bi ETL documentation and also the DAX programming in the Query Editor you can handle your data before developing your reports.
