YoY calculation by changing values problem

Transaction Season is a stand alone table because it's not like each day represents a given season. There are some days which have orders for three different seasons or more. Is there no way to code a dax formula that uses the fields SeasonCode and SubSeason Code and Year that takes the same season and subseason but subtracts 1 on the year field and then selects the returned season?
