sorting on a joined table custom sort

Thank you for using Microsoft Community Forum. provided some steps as per your quetion, if still your facing the problem,please share sample data or PBIX file.

Check that the relationship between TimeSort and SalesData is set up correctly (should be active and properly joined).

In Data View, click on the X-axis field in SalesData. Then, from the top menu, pick Sort By Column and choose the sort order column from TimeSort.

Make sure you’re not using the sort order column in the Tooltips—sorting works through the Sort By Column setting, not the Tooltips.
