Search if statement with multiple conditions
I'm trying to create a calculated column with 2 IF conditions:
1. [GRADE_NAME] must contain "Industry"
2. 10 Years of service
However if I run this:
| GRADE_NAME | Total Years - Employment | Column |
| abcde | 8.4 | 2.125 |
| fghij | 5.1 | 2.125 |
| Industry X | 9.3 | 2.5 |
| Industry Y | 18.5 | 2.5 |
Industry X should be showing 2.125 as they haven't served for 10 years
Is there a way to make this if statement respect both conditions e.g. they must be Industry && 10 years of service not either?
Please try this column expression to get your desired result
NewColumn =
IF (
SEARCH (
"Industr",
'Query1'[GRADE_NAME],
,
0
) > 0
&& 'Query1'[Total Years - Employment] >= 10,
2.5,
DIVIDE (
25.5,
12
)
)Regards,
Pat
