Running total by category

Hi,

This is probably an easy one but I'm stumped.

I have a inventory transaction table that record inventory movements.

I have created a measure that calculate the inventory position by date (running total) which works fine:

However, as soon as I try to add detail in my table (such as transaction type), the logic breaks:

Does anyone have a clue how to fix this?
