Replace all DAX fromulas to SQL code

Hello,

Is it a good idea to delete all existing DAX commands in a Power BI dashboard environment and replace them with SQL code (in SQL server)?

Is this much easier to maintain and do I keep the same flexibilty (drilling, filtering, analysing) in my reports?

    Artefact ,The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.

      Hello Amitchandak,

      I can't give you an example . It's about the global priciple : Make a dashboard without any DAX, but do all calculations in SQL in SQL server, where SQL server is the source for the dashboards. So for example (there you go....) 
      eg "Calculate[profit];Company="Acme"     -> write SQL code to get the same result
      eg "SUMX[Sales];sales[profit] * sales[cost]  -> write SQL code to get the same result

      and so on.
      Does it make sense to write all calculations in SQL?
