pivot data using dax

I need to show a pivot table with more than one column information without drill down, so that I can't use matrix and I must use "Table" and make a "manual" pivot , transforming a specific rows  in a columns. bellow follow my actual scenario  where I would like to transform the order column in row

cod client           client  project    store  order
123456789client a     adist1  1
123456789client aadist2  2
123456789client abdist1  1
123456789client abdist1  2
123456780client badist1  1
123456780client badist2  2
123456780client bbdist1  1
123456780client bbdist1   2

The desire scenario

cod client                     client    project      12
123456789   client a        a     dist1dist2
123456789   client abdist1dist1
123456780   client badist1dist2
123456780client bbdist1dist1

I've tried to use a switch function to create a virtual column, but I couldn't. Some Idea in how to transform rows in columns using dax ?

  • Hi,

1.You can turn of the stepped layout in the format menu under ROW HEADERS.

2.You can turn off the +/- icon in the same menu.

    3. You can further expand to lowest level and then disable the visual header. So no drill down options exist (In the published report).

Alternatively you could use the Pivot function in the Query before visualisation. I dont really see an option in DAX.

    Best regards,

    Yeah. Use the matrix visual.

Why can't you use it? I don't quite get it... What does this visual have to do with drilldown? You can always switch off the drilldown functionality through settings on the visual. Can't you?

No, there's no option to switch off the drilldown and I need to show all information in the same row level.

      tks
