Import vs Live Connection

Quick Question, 
I imported a model in PBI Desktop (Import mode) and created a measure, and then I Created a new Report but this time Connected Directly to the PBI dataset in the Service (Live Connection) and copied and pasted the measure from import to live connection.

In Import mode it loads the value of the measure but when replicating in the Live Connection it 'Exceeds available resources' Making me filter the data to be able to see the value. The only difference is connectivity mode between these 2 measures, so my question, is it because of the different Connection Modes just asking as there was no other difference?
