Filter context on a variable
Hello,
I have a table that correctly shows the "current savings" for this year to date (see below)
I want to add a fixed amount that is stored as a variable to each row... when I do this it seems to break the date context filter and shows ALL of the months in the year:
ANy idea what i'm doing wrong - what I want to see are months July through to current month with the current savings and measure for those months.

I hope the below can provide some ideas on how to create a solution for your datamodel.
Value plue 100 measure: = SUMX ( DISTINCT ( 'Calendar'[Month-Year] ), CALCULATE ( IF ( [Value total measure:] <> 0, [Value total measure:] + 100 ) ) )

Thank you for replying. I have tried that and it works. I was wondering If there was a "best practice" way of handling constants and filter context?
