    Anonymous , A column can not use slicer value , You can create measure

    example

    var _max = year(maxx(allselected('Date'),'Date'[Date]) )

    return

    Switch( true() ,

    year(Max(Table[projects released])) < _max , "Frontlist" ,

    year(Max(Table[projects released])) = _max , "Backlist" ,

    "Other"

    )
