Dynamic calculation time slider

Hello everybody, 

I'm trying to dynamically manipulate a value according to the time frame chosen on a time slicer (slider, not dropdown or selection). 

I have values per Month like this: 

JAN400
FEB325
....

 

Now, the goal is to break down the values according to the time frame chosen. 

For example, if I was to choose 1st of January - 4th of January as a timeframe, the value should be:


400/31 * 4

 

And if it would be 1st of January - 2nd of Feburary it should be: 


400/31 * 31 + 325/28 * 2


Is is possible to make a value react to a timeslicer like that? 
Any pointers would be much appreciated!

    Approach your issue step by step

    - get the distinct values of the dates inside your slider selection (min to max)

    - group the values by month

    - for each month add the count of days from the dates table

    - add the count of days  from the slider/slicer for each group

    - profit!
